Kayla Young
Kayla Young grew up in Greeley and has worked in journalism for 15 years. She is a recent corps member for Report for America, where she has covered immigration and the Latino community in English and Spanish for WFAE News (NPR) and La Noticia in Charlotte, N.C. She has also reported in Latin America, the Caribbean and the U.S., covering a wide range of topics from agriculture and climate change to human rights and equity. For six years, she called Grand Cayman home and dedicated herself to community and investigative journalism. Now she resides in her hometown and continues to write local and international stories.
