ell us about yourself, your history and how you came to be where you are now.
I started in the mortgage business two years ago and am passionate about helping my clients achieve their goal of home ownership. Over the last two years I have broken records in my field and built a social media brand around my business.
What are you passionate about professionally and personally, and why?
I am passionate about educating others and guiding them to make the best financial decisions for their family. I believe in building a brand that can be recognized and respected in Northern Colorado and beyond. Personally, I am passionate about being a mom my son can look up to and a balanced partner to my husband of five years.
What is your superpower?
I like to think my superpower is my ability to lift others up. I see the potential in my friends, clients and business partners. I am their biggest cheerleader. I love to see people win, and I truly get joy out of collaborating with those around me to create success and have a fun time while doing it.
What do you consider your biggest accomplishment, either professionally or personally?
My accomplishment I am most proud of is the fact that I produced $30 million in loan volume my first year in the mortgage business. I was told a reasonable goal would be $10 million.
Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
The person who has the biggest influence on my life is my son. Everything I am, everything I do, and everything I have accomplished is because I want him to grow up and be proud of his mom. Motherhood has pushed me in ways I never imagined and has molded me into the person I am today. I am still improving, and he is my motivation to keep going.
Where do you see yourself in five years? In 10 years?
In five years, I see myself with an established, respected brand in the mortgage business. I expect to be a name that is recognized by local people in my industry and someone who is known for being fun and easy to work with. In 10 years, I expect to have a team of people surrounding me that have the same vision.
What piece(s) of advice would you give to your
18-year-old self?
Listen to your gut. Work hard. Don’t feel pressured into going to college. Everyone has their own journey, and you will forge your own path. The people who are meant for you will find you, support you and build with you.
What do you enjoy doing in your downtime?
In my downtime I enjoy spending quiet time with my family, going to country concerts and weekend trips to the beach.
What would you like to give back to your community?
This year my focus is to serve others. I am determined to give back, not only to my clients but also the people around me. I am on the founding committee for the Young Professionals of Greeley with the Chamber of Commerce, and it is a goal of mine to connect other business owners to each other.
