MoA Masks Exhibition and Benefit

As one of Fort Collins most acclaimed community art events, the 2019 DaVinci Sign Systems|Eye Center of Northern Colorado Masks Exhibition and Benefit opens on April 5. The Mask’s Gala is held at the Embassy Suites, Saturday, April 27. The exhibition closing on May 3 will conclude the silent auction bidding for the masks.

In total, there have been over 2500 masks designed and donated by artists, most of whom live in Northern Colorado. Some mask artists, such as Bob Coonts, have been with the Masks project nearly every year since its beginning in 2003. Equally loyal sponsors , like EKS&H/Plante Moran, ReMAX Advanced Real Estate, and The Youth Clinic boost the museum’s fund development effort with their contributions.

Also celebrated at the Masks Gala will be Dr. Peter Springberg, a noted philanthropist and development specialist. He will receive the Roz Spencer Award in recognition of his work on behalf of the Museum of Art | Fort Collins and other arts organizations in Fort Collins. The award is in honor of the museum’s founder.

Both the opening and the closing of the Masks Benefit are hosted as open admission nights at the museum by the Eye Center of Northern Colorado.
