Banner Health now providing in-network services to Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield members

Banner Health is making health care easier for Fort Collins consumers with the announcement of an insurance contract renewal. Effective July 1, consumers insured by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield can receive services in network at Banner Fort Collins Medical Center. All other Banner Health services in Colorado continue to remain in network. Free Our Girls, a local non-profit organization that serves survivors of domestic human trafficking, will host the grand opening of Sparrow’s Landing Boutique on Friday, July 5, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, July 6, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The boutique is located at 1513 11th Ave. in downtown Greeley. Bohemian Foundation has awarded more than $100,000 to 11 organizations working locally to strengthen community through music. Muse provides support to organizations that have popular contemporary music as their primary focus, or that have a program that centers on popular contemporary music. Through Muse, Bohemian Foundation makes awards of up to $20,000 to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving Larimer and Weld Counties. Applications are accepted twice per year. Walk MS Windsor

Walk MS Windsor brought together family and friends of the Northern Colorado Community to increase awareness of the challenges faced by those with multiple sclerosis. Participants spent the morning of May 11 walking either a 1-mile or 3-mile course around Windsor Lake. Children participated in a scavenger hunt and played a mini bowling game at the Chipper’s Lane tent. Music, food and drinks all were part of the festivities.
