Fort Collins Peach Festival
Colorado Palisade Peaches took center stage for a day of food, drink and fun family activities. A peach pancake breakfast and 5K run kicked off festivities followed by pie-eating contests and live music with plenty of fresh peach cobbler, pies, beer and margaritas to enjoy in between. Proceeds from the eighth annual Peach Festival will benefit the STEM Education Fund and the charitable projects of The Rotary Clubs of Fort Collins.
NOCO Unify Suitcase Party
Hot Rods & Happy Days was the theme at the 12th annual Suitcase Party, which had more than 900 attendees dressed in ‘50s period attire. One lucky raffle winner and her guest were whisked away that night on a helicopter to an awaiting private jet bound for South Lake Tahoe and a weekend at The Landing Lake Tahoe Resort & Spa. Proceeds raised to benefit Northern Colorado Unify and the charities they support championing local underprivileged youth.
Spartan Scholarship Golf Tournament
The inaugural Chicago Title Spartan Scholarship Golf Tournament was also the first nonprofit golf tournament held at the new TPC Colorado in Berthoud, where 130 players competed in the sold-out event. PVH and MCR Foundation Golf Classic
Nearly 120 business professionals, owners and sponsors participated in the PVH and MCR Foundation’s annual Golf Classic presented by Advanced Medical Imaging Consultants. The golf tournament raised nearly $35,000 and will benefit Women & Children’s Care at Poudre Valley Hospital (PVH) and Medical Center of the Rockies (MCR) with a portion going to educational interactive toys for a newly renovated play area on the pediatrics unit. Opera enthusiasts gathered for a musical evening at the ninth annual Opera Fort Collins Guild fundraiser. An art-filled garden was the perfect backdrop for the live musical performances of classical opera arias and Broadway tunes, performed by tenor Brett Sprague and soprano Christie Conover.
