Blues & Cruise: Car Show and Blues Music Festival in Downtown Loveland

By: Staff

The One Sweet Summer series kicks off on Saturday, May 31, with the annual Blues & Cruise event, a day of great blues music and a classic car show in the heart of downtown Loveland. This year, the popular blues festival is merging with the classic car show to bring you the best of both worlds. This event is free and open to the public.

The car show starts at 10 a.m., and classic cars can be viewed in the Foundry Plaza on the 3rd Street, 4th Street and 5th Street blocks between Lincoln and Cleveland avenues.

Catch live blues music in two different locations in downtown Loveland. Stop by 5th Street, near The Loveland Museum, where blues bands will play from 12-3 p.m. And be sure to head down to the Foundry Plaza for live blues from 1-7 p.m. Local craft beer and food trucks will also be in the Foundry Plaza, and additional food trucks will be parked on 5th Street.

The Loveland Downtown District is partnering with The Road Knights Car Club for this downtown event. The Road Knights will accept classic cars prior to 1980 models. Due to space and capacity, no trailers or large vehicles will be allowed. No registration fee is required, and cars will be entered and parked on a first-come, first-served basis until the spots are full (about 100 cars). Once the car show area is full, overflow show cars can park in any available space downtown or in a parking lot.
