Dr. Bial grew up on the picturesque Olympic Peninsula of Washington and embarked on his academic journey by earning his undergraduate degree in civil/structural engineering from Washington State University. He initially worked as a civil engineer and later transitioned into teaching high school mathematics.

His career then took a turn toward dentistry, leading him to obtain his dental degree from Roseman University in South Jordan, Utah. During his time in dental school, he developed a special interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery, influencing him to pursue residency upon graduation. He completed an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Louisiana State University, followed by medical school and a general surgery internship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and residency at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Following his residency, Dr. Bial dedicated himself to further specialization, completing a two-year fellowship program in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery at Providence Cancer Institute in Portland, Ore. His training encompasses the full spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with expertise in dental implants, wisdom tooth extraction, general and office-based anesthesia, head and neck cancer and reconstruction, facial trauma, facial cosmetics, obstructive sleep apnea and orthognathic surgery. Welcoming a new location in Loveland this spring, Precision Oral Surgery will be expanding their commitment to providing quality dental implants and oral surgery.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Bial finds joy in snowboarding, backpacking, traveling and hiking, embracing the natural beauty of the world around him. He is also an Eagle Scout and enjoys his involvement with the Boy Scouts of America.
