Waypoint Real Estate hosted Northern Colorado’s shortest race, the fifth annual 0.5K Run for RamStrength, at Canvas Stadium. The ’80s-themed run raised $27,553, and every dollar went to the RamStrength Lubick Foundation. More than 300 runners, walkers and neon enthusiasts opened the night on the New Belgium Porch with drinks, dinner from local food trucks and a costume contest, where winners took home prizes donated by 18 sponsors. Then everyone headed onto the field to walk, jog or sprint their way to the finish line in leg warmers and fanny packs. The foundation helps cover rent, utilities and groceries for individuals and families affected by cancer in Larimer and Weld counties.
