Attendance more than doubled in two years, reaching 414 people during the 2025-26 season; talks return Sept. 23
The Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area’s annual Poudre Pub Talk Series set an attendance record during its 2025-26 season, drawing 414 attendees, more than double the 150 who participated two years earlier. The growth reflects a strong interest in coming together, learning from one another and deepening connections to the place so many people call home.
Hosted at local breweries throughout Northern Colorado, the Poudre Pub Talk Series brings local experts and attendees together to explore the region’s culture, history, recreation, ecology and stewardship. The series offers residents and newcomers a place to learn about the region, connect with others and explore how stewardship of the watershed takes shape.
One attendee, who started attending the events after moving to Fort Collins, says, “The program helped us get to know our new home, the watershed and local pubs.”
“My sister and I love coming to these talks,” says another attendee. “We meet new friends, enjoy a couple of craft beers and learn something new.”
