Presented by the Black Professionals Network in partnership with Foothills Mall and the City of Fort Collins, this year’s Fort Collins Juneteenth Celebration honored the historic day in 1865 when the last enslaved people in the U.S. learned of their freedom. Guided by this year’s theme, “belonging,” the event created a welcoming space where community members could connect, celebrate and feel seen. Attendees enjoyed live performances, local vendors, food, art and educational activities that highlighted Black culture, resilience and achievement. The celebration emphasized unity and inclusion while uplifting BIPOC businesses and encouraging reflection, joy and shared purpose.
