When a family loses a child, the world often does not know how to respond or support them. 3Hopeful Hearts exists so those families never have to grieve alone. On Monday, Aug. 24, the community can help carry that work forward at the Swing for Hope Golf Benefit at the award-winning TPC Colorado in Berthoud.
3Hopeful Hearts is the only nonprofit in Northern Colorado that supports families after the death of a child at no cost. Proceeds from the tournament keep that support free, funding the peer support groups, remembrance events and resources that help grieving parents and siblings find connection and healing during the hardest season of their lives. Founded in 2008, 3Hopeful Hearts now receives an average of 20 family referrals every month, a number that reflects both the depth of the need and the trust the community places in its care.
The tournament features a 10 a.m. shotgun start on one of Colorado’s premier courses, with a day of championship golf and networking for business leaders, community partners and supporters. Every registration and sponsorship goes directly toward grief support programs and services for families in the community.
“This event is about much more than golf,” says Sarah Saltee, executive director of 3Hopeful Hearts. “It’s an opportunity for our community to come together, build meaningful relationships and ensure that no one has to face grief alone.”
