United Way of Weld County hosted its 42nd annual Northern Colorado Children’s Festival at Island Grove Regional Park, gathering 4,860 attendees, 90 vendors and 78 volunteers for a free, family-friendly day centered on early childhood development. Families explored community resources, received free books, enjoyed live entertainment and engaged in hands-on activities, such as making homemade Play-Doh and creating paper flowers. The event aims to make learning opportunities and healthy lifestyles accessible for families across Northern Colorado.
