The second annual Daddy Daughter Doll Up took place at Main Event, where fathers and daughters spent the evening learning the basics of hair and makeup. Professional stylists demonstrated braids, buns, ponytails, nail painting and simple makeup techniques for ballet recitals and other performances. Hosted by Andrew Johnson and Business Networking Done Right, the event raised more than $1,500 for ChildSafe, a local nonprofit providing healing services for children and families impacted by abuse. The night wrapped up with a runway walk, where the pairs showed off their finished looks and celebrated the fun and connection at the heart of it all.
