The 20th annual WomenGive Luncheon brought community members together at Embassy Suites by Hilton to celebrate the impact of WomenGive, a program of United Way of Larimer County that supports single mothers pursuing higher education. Guests heard directly from WomenGive scholars about how that support shapes their daily lives, from gaining access to reliable childcare to making progress toward graduation. The luncheon featured insights from the Women’s Foundation of Colorado on statewide efforts to advance equity for women and families while highlighting the collective impact of investing in those throughout Larimer County. More than $150,000 was raised to provide childcare, cash assistance and aftercare scholarships to participants working toward college degrees with the goal of achieving greater stability for their families.
