Aims Community College invites the community to attend upcoming public events on its campuses. Events are free unless otherwise noted.

Spotlight Speaker Series: Dr. Myron Rolle

When: Feb. 4 | 7 p.m.
Where: Welcome Center Miller Auditorium, Greeley Campus

Dr. Myron Rolle is a Harvard and Massachusetts General Hospital-trained neurosurgeon and serves as a pediatric neurosurgery fellow at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He is a Rhodes Scholar, best-selling author, former All-American at Florida State University and former National Football League player for the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers. During the presentation, Rolle discusses leadership and shares how reading authors such as Kofi Annan, Nelson Mandela, Malcolm X, W.E.B. Du Bois, Booker T. Washington and Ben Carson influenced his development as a leader.

Tax Help Colorado

Aims Community College offers free tax preparation and e-filing assistance through the Tax Help Colorado program. Individuals and households with annual incomes under $70,000 in 2025 may participate at no cost and receive assistance from IRS-certified Aims students and community volunteers. Sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Live in Studio A
Priority deadline: Feb. 13
Final deadline: March 1

Aims Community College’s Communication Media Department invites bands to audition for Live in Studio A, a recording opportunity for performance-ready musicians. Selected performers will receive a professionally produced live video and audio recording created by experienced staff and students in training. Studio performances will take place March 23-27. The priority registration deadline is Feb. 13.

Jesse Hoyle: How to Forget Exhibit

When: Open through March 11
Where: Ed Beaty Hall Gallery, Greeley Campus

Artist Jesse Hoyle works with silk-screened red clay mud layered onto photographs, textiles and site-specific installations to explore memory, family history and the space between preservation and release. The exhibition uses a non-linear approach to examine how memory is formed and what is retained or let go.

Aims Community College Campus Tours

When: Multiple dates and times

In-person campus tours are available this spring for prospective students and their families. Tours include the Greeley, Windsor and Fort Lupton campuses as well as the new Aircraft Maintenance Training Center in Loveland. Tours are walking tours, and registration is required.
