As part of their annual tradition to bring cheer to children in need over the holidays, Human Bean Northern Colorado hosted a toy drive from Nov. 6-30. Customers brought new and unwrapped gifts for young children and teens to any of the 10 drive-thru locations. Donations were distributed to Santa Cops of Weld County, Life Stories and Serve 6.8 to deliver to children in their respective communities.
“We are incredibly grateful to our community and our amazing staff who came together to make this toy drive such a success,” says Valerie Katalenic, senior manager for The Human Bean. “Every box of toys represents generosity, kindness and a shared commitment to supporting local families and nonprofits during the holiday season.”
The Human Bean kicked off the drive on Nov. 6 with representatives from each nonprofit serving as guest baristas at one of their locations:
- Santa Cops of Weld County were at 3310 23rd Ave. in Evans
- Life Stories were at 3665 W. 10th St. in Greeley
- Serve 6.8 were at 6180 E. Crossroads Blvd. in Loveland
Additionally, 10 percent of sales made at each of the three locations on Nov. 6 were donated to the effort.
Through the generosity of loyal customers and dedicated team members, Human Bean Northern Colorado donated $319.03, along with many boxes of toys to Santa Cops of Weld County.
