There have been countless generations who have walked through the red door in Old Town carrying with them a passion for plumbing, heating, and helping others. Those who are eager to learn, grow, and ensure homes and businesses are running smoothly have helped create Hahn Plumbing-Heating-AC to the local plumbing business that it is.
The story of Hahn continues and the neon red sign shines brighter as we enter into the second half of 2025 with growth as the driving factor.
In order to successfully move forward, we want to look back on the past. Hahn’s story started back in Salina, Kansas with John Hahn helping his grandfather at City Plumbing. His plumbing journey found himself in Fort Collins, Colorado where he started Hahn Plumbing and Heating in 1967. Fast forward to two years later and John Hahn, Jr. was born.
John held a passion for plumbing. He was around the service environment his whole life, watching his grandfather help the community of Salina and eventually teaching his own son the ropes of the industry. John still radioed in during the final days of his life and passed in August 2022.
The Hahn family passion for plumbing and heating was passed on to John Hahn, Jr. John Jr recounts his memories at the beginning years with Hahn Plumbing and Heating as a teenager who just went along for the rides, helping pull weeds and assisting the plumbers with services. He was an apprentice who eventually became a Master Plumber. Wind the clock forward 35 years and he still helps the local community of Northern Colorado, including some of his former teachers and people his dad used to help.
Another journey began for Hahn in 2024, when management shifted to help John Jr continue the legacy his father left behind. This new management team aims to hold on to the local feel and carry on Hahn’s history, while also introducing new pieces to help Hahn and their employees move forward in these forever changing times.
Since joining on, there has been a growing team for both the technicians and the office staff, and we’re continuing to expand! These new faces bring in new perspectives and knowledge to Hahn and we’re so excited for the growth to come!
Working alongside a dedicated marketing partner and Hahn’s business manager, the team has created the perfect image for Hahn. Learning from the past and utilizing the present, Hahn has a new website, an increased presence on social media platforms, a new look to the logo and gear, and exciting promotions for the customers to come!
Hahn is also thrilled to announce our recent involvement with Realities for Children as a Business Member. We are excited to be part of supporting children who have faced abuse, neglect, or are at risk. This is just a first step to giving back to the community of Northern Colorado.
