Uplift: FoCo’s inaugural event was an evening of local music benefiting The Matthews House, which took place at Aggie Theatre. The show featured an all-star house band coming together for the first time, featuring Eric Thorin, Joe Lessard, Eric Wiggs, Jordan Ramsey and Dusty Rider. They were joined by special guest appearances from local songwriters Alysia Kraft, Courtney Hartman, Bethel Steele, Erin and Aaron Youngburg, and Eva Holbrook of SHEL’s debut as Lady Moon. Local muralist Chris Bates did a live painting that was included in the silent auction alongside a stellar lineup of all local items, ranging from paintings to show tickets to whitewater rafting. There were 200 in attendance and the event raised $15,000.
