Annual Walk a Mile in Their Shoes Event

On April 13th Loveland’s “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” community event invites you to enter into the real stories and struggles of homelessness. This awareness and collaborative event between One Community One Family, House of Neighborly Service, Loveland Public Library, Salvation Army, Community Kitchen, and 137 Connection will have community members literally walk the path that those who are homeless have to walk daily.

Together these NOCO organizations seek to bring awareness to the problem of homelessness in Colorado. W.A.M.I.T.S. participants will travel the path of those going through homelessness in Loveland as they listen to a podcast of stories told by those that ‘walk the walk’ themselves each and every day. Those who make it to all 5 stops, will be entered in a drawing at the end for the chance win a prize!

Date & Time April 13, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Location Downtown Loveland, 1511 E 11th St.
