The Friends of the Symphony is putting on a family friendly and interactive evening with the Musical Zoo 2019 on Sunday, March 3, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Fort Collins’ Timberline Church. This exciting program of musical education and entertainment is designed especially for children 3-12 years old and their families to attend!

Musical Zoo 2019 is put on by more than 200 volunteer musicians and guides. The show includes an instrumental “Petting Zoo” where kids can “play” a variety of orchestral instruments as well as performances by youth groups at the same time. The Grand Finale features the Fort Collins Symphony performing Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf.

This beloved fable, combining symphony, dance and theatrical narration creates a memorable experience for the whole family! The Fort Collins Symphony with guest conductor Mariusz Smolij will be joined by Canyon Concert Ballet as they present this timeless story about Peter, the wolf, the duck, the cat and other characters through music and dance.
