The Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated its members and the past year at its annual gala. This year’s ’50s theme, Greased Lightning, had many of the 150 members and guests decked out in period attire and featured specially designed desserts, table settings and a photo backdrop. The festivities included auctions, a wrench sale with a chance to win a tool box full of tools, and the presentation of awards for 2018. Taking top honors were: Business of the Year, Main Street Car Care and Quick Lube; Citizens of the Year, Jan and Ken Grack; Non-Profit of the Year, Wildfire Community Arts Center; and the Doctors Fickel Award recipient, Whitney Way.
