Old Town Churn Ice Cream Launches ChurnUpGood

[envira-gallery id=”13317″]Join Fort Collins’ Old Town Churn Saturday, January 5, with local friends and family in the community and make memories while making ice-cream with your very own ice cream maker or churn! Looking to create a new ongoing tradition? Come ChurnUpGood at Old Town Churn’s 26-foot tall ice cream churn and 2,000-pound hand crank. Not only is this event a perfect excuse to spend time with friends but also to make ice cream that benefits the Fort Collins Rescue Mission.

As part of the Little Man Ice Cream family of brands, their mission is simple…make delicious ice cream, bring community together in a meaningful way and help those in need through their Scoop-for-Scoop philanthropic program. The featured photos are from Old Town Churn’s last event, The Gingerbread House Party had over 150 participants and raised money for Homeward Alliance.

The “ChurnUpGood” events take place the first Saturday of every month. Old Town Churn provides the base and mixings. You just bring an ice cream maker or churn and a lot of good cheer to share with the Rescue Mission, an organization committed to helping homeless and struggling neighbors.
