Oct. 2, 2018 – Outdoor Sunsport, a premier patio furniture and winter sports shop in Fort Collins, is hosting a unique Ski & Snowboard Swap Sale from Oct. 4-7. The weekend will provide an opportunity for winter sports enthusiasts to trade in their gently used gear, and funds raised will benefit Respite Care in Fort Collins.
“Outpost has always placed great emphasis on community involvement throughout the past 40 years,” said Randy Morgan, owner of Outpost Sunsport. “Respite Care is a valuable resource for families, and we are proud to support them in any way we can.”
On Oct. 4-5, patrons can bring in gently used ski and snowboard equipment and apparel to Outpost’s location at 931 E. Harmony Rd. along with a $2 donation for Respite Care. On Oct. 6-7, Outpost will sell the donated items, and donors will receive 100 percent in store credit if their items sell or 50 percent of the sold price in cash. In addition, representatives from the Ikon Pass, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain, Steamboat, Winter Park Resort and Loveland Ski Area will all be in attendance.
Respite Care, which will receive donations throughout the weekend, is a local nonprofit organization that provides support and resources for children with developmental disabilities.
