The Young Men’s Service League of Northern Colorado (YMSL) is partnering with SERVE 6.8 to help families in need through their Ultimate Gift Week of Service. YMSL NOCO mothers and their high school sons are dedicating nearly 500 hours of service to help SERVE 6.8 prepare for its busy Adopt-A-Family season. The effort is part of Ultimate Gift, YMSL’s annual signature philanthropic event.
Culminating on Saturday, Sept. 26, YMSL NOCO will complete its Ultimate Gift Week of Service at SERVE 6.8, where more than 80 members will build the Adopt-A-Family toy room and support various tasks to prepare SERVE 6.8 for a busy season of giving.
This will conclude a week of service, including food collection and a project move on Saturday, Sept. 19, and Weekday Warrior volunteering during the week at the SERVE 6.8 warehouse. In total, YMSL is projected to provide nearly 500 hours with 150 volunteers.
This year’s Ultimate Gift focused on food and housing insecurity. Working alongside SERVE 6.8, YMSL members are providing hands-on volunteer support to SERVE 6.8 and its network of resource centers.
