Featuring Broadway blockbusters, acclaimed musicians, comedians, dancers, family entertainment and National Geographic LIVE speakers, this season offers something for audiences of every age and interest.
“This season reflects the many ways live performance brings our community together,” says Edward Modec, The Lincoln Center’s arts and culture senior manager. “It’s all part of the culture that connects us—through shared experiences that entertain, inspire and spark curiosity.”
Powerhouse performances from Broadway and beyond take center stage this season. Making their Northern Colorado debut are the national Broadway tours of “Shucked” and “Beetlejuice,” alongside the international percussion sensation STOMP and the new jukebox musical “Mystic Pizza,” based on the beloved 1988 film and packed with iconic ’80s and ’90s hits.
Comedy fans can look forward to nonstop laughs as #IMOMSOHARD brings The Flashback Tour to town while Marc Maron drops in with his Yammering Into the Void Tour. Fresh off a five-week, sold-out run of his acclaimed Off-Broadway show, Gary Gulman takes the stage, while the cast of “Whose Live Anyway?”—including Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, Gary Anthony Williams and Joel Murray—delivers a night of fast-paced improv with special guest Dave Foley.
The dance lineup is equally dynamic, featuring Step Afrika!, which blends stepping with traditional African and contemporary dance; Complexions Contemporary Ballet, performing to the electrifying music of Lenny Kravitz; and Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, whose all-male company hilariously reimagines classical ballet with remarkable precision.
The season also features imaginative and interactive performances for the whole family, from the mind-bending magic of Bill Blagg and the immersive adventure tale of “Jungle Book” to the high-flying fun of The Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show starring talented rescue dogs.
Discover the wonders of our world through National Geographic LIVE, where leading explorers, photographers and scientists share extraordinary stories. This season features “Chasing Monarchs,” “Adventure for Change,” “Cosmic Adventures,” “Saving Nature’s Symphony” and “Rise of T. rex.”
Other season highlights include Broadway megastar Mandy Gonzalez performing the songs of Lin-Manuel Miranda with the Fort Collins Symphony, a nostalgic journey to Jim Henson’s “Fraggle Rock” and “Ghostbusters in Concert” featuring the 1984 film accompanied by a live orchestra performing its GRAMMY-nominated score. Celebrate the holidays with GRAMMY Award-winning artists Aoife O’Donovan and Chris Thile and the acclaimed a cappella group Voctave. Rounding out the season are Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, original stars of “RENT,” and The Electric Light Orchestra Experience, a multimedia celebration of Electric Light Orchestra’s greatest hits.
