The Beauty of Blackness Fine Art Show returned to the Opera Galleria to showcase original work by Black and African American artists as well as other artists of color. The show honored the legacy, power and beauty of Black creativity by featuring works that teach and awaken the senses. Throughout the weekend, attendees connected with the artists and enjoyed a variety of events, including a workshop with artist Deborah Shedrick, a fashion runway celebration and a talk with featured artist Thomas E. Lockhart. More than an exhibition, the show served as a platform to champion excellence, making Black art visible, valued and collectible.
