Books, beer and generosity were on tap at The Lincoln Center, where over 130 attendees enjoyed local brews for a good cause. Thanks to the Northern Colorado community, more than $119,000 was raised to support Book Trust’s work in Colorado and nationwide. Book Trust is a national early literacy nonprofit that enhances book access, choice, ownership and joy for students—at no cost to them or their families. Last school year in Northern Colorado, Book Trust partnered with 21 schools and 400 teachers. Across the region, 8,538 students selected and received 91,203 books to build and grow their personal libraries.
