Lights of Hope is one of the Community Grief Center’s biggest events of the year, where they aim to raise 50% of their annual budget so they can continue offering free services to those who are grieving. This year, the community was invited to join in decorating luminaries at the Aims Welcome Center as a collective effort to “light up hope” and remember lost loved ones. The event featured guest speaker Kelly Jackson, a community leader and former client of the grief center, who shared her story of healing with more than 170 attendees. As of press time, the fundraising efforts had garnered $99,900.
