Q: What’s your occupation? Explain your career, your accomplishments and professional highlights.

A: I am a humble servant. I am also a local Realtor. My success has been fueled by all the amazing people around me. I would not be where I am today without my amazing clients and mentors who have believed in me along the way. I was the 2021 Loveland-Berthoud Association of Realtors Rookie of the Year, and I have had a part in facilitating over 150 transactions since entering the industry in 2019.

Q: Tell us about yourself, your history and how you came to be where you are now.

A: I have had incredible support from my family, friends, clients and community. Northern Colorado has shaped who I am today, as well as the time and lessons learned from the amazing mentors I have had along the way. I also come from a hardworking family that has shown me the way. When we dedicate our life to serving others, I believe God has a way of making sure our needs are met. Education and community service have also been an integral part of my growth.

Age: 29

Occupation: Realtor

Q: Tell us something unique about you.

A: I have a beautiful son who is my pride and joy. I am on the board of the StarHouse in Boulder and am helping them through a multimillion-dollar land transition. I am on the board of directors for the Loveland Chamber of Commerce and am part of FUEL (Future United Emerging Leaders of Loveland). I also coach and help facilitate transformational and experiential workshops.

Q: What do you consider your biggest accomplishment, either professionally or personally?

A: My biggest accomplishment thus far is the opportunity to raise my beautiful son, Jackson Jacob Walkowicz, who is six months old. I also take pride in donating my time, talent and treasures to local nonprofit organizations. I am currently having the best year of my career, with over $10 million of brokerage transactions on the books.

Q: Where do you see yourself in five years? In 10 years?

A: I see myself continuing to be of service to my family, my clients and my community. Home base will always be here. I see my kids growing up in this beautiful place we call home.

Q: What piece(s) of advice would you give to your younger self?

A: Be humble and be of service. Spend as much time with your family as you can. Value the beauty of relationships. Stop and smell the roses. See the natural beauty around us. Learn to be a mindful, loving leader. Not only can you be a light in this world, but you can also be the flame. Make people feel seen, heard, loved and appreciated.

Q: In what ways have you given back to charities in our community and elsewhere?

A: I love being of service. I fundraise, donate and volunteer with Coats and Boots of Loveland. I am on the board of directors for StarHouse, a nonprofit organization that helps people achieve a healthy soul, body and mind. I am a coach, volunteer and donor for Atlas, an experiential workshop that facilitates transformation and leadership. I donate time and money to Crossroads Church, The Water Project, Project Linus, Colorado Youth Outdoors, Loveland Connect and other nonprofits. Last year I hosted a clothes swap in my garage for the homeless population of Loveland. The group that used my garage gave away hundreds of pieces of clothing and hygiene products. I also donate monthly to the Denver Rescue Mission.

Q: What satisfaction do you get out of donating to good causes?

A: I like making others’ days and sharing my treasure: Giving the homeless guy money on the street, holding the door open for someone, taking care of humanity and putting as much good into the world as I can. I get more enjoyment out of leaving an extra big tip for the server than sending a check to a large nonprofit. My vision for my life is to empower others so they can empower themselves. I have learned that if I strive toward being a mindful leader, that’s exactly what I become. What we focus on expands.
