Remember those slushies you got after soccer games at 7-Eleven stores? Now they come with alcohol, according to NOCO Style freelancer Dan England. Wiley Roots, Downtown Greeley’s other nationally recognized brewery, offers slushie beers as a part of its eclectic menu. “Make sure you order a frozen slush, that’s the one that closely resembles what you got as a kid,” says England.
You can also order a mix of the two flavors, Wiley’s version of “animal” style. This is a mix of lime, blueberry and Sour Patch Kids. They are “sweet, sour, and delicious. I nearly forget there’s alcohol in it, until I realize that fuzz in my head isn’t just brain freeze.”
