There is never a shortage of opportunities to network in NOCO.
Last month, NOCO Style was honored with a red-carpet ribbon cutting by the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce. More than 50 people were in attendance as we mingled, shared business interests and enjoyed a light breakfast.
Later that afternoon, the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce also honored us with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. More than 20 people joined us on the rooftop of our headquarters in Loveland’s “desk chair” for spirits, barbecue and great company.
In June alone, we have attended six networking events in Greeley, Fort Collins, Berthoud and Loveland. It is a great way for us to meet community members and learn about different kinds of businesses, and we’ve made a lot of great friends. To get more involved in the community, we suggest NOCO Speed Networking, www.nocospeednetworking.com, and joining your local area chamber of commerce.
In this month’s issue, we talk a lot about the great outdoors. Hiking and dogs go hand-in-hand. Learn how to protect your dog from snakes, beginning on page 26. Keep an eye out for many dog-friendly events this summer.
Also featured this month is UNC grad Elizabeth Van Lierde, who has become the “Martha Stewart” of the millennial set. She is a blogger with more than 100,000 followers. Her interests include recipes, home design and entertaining.
Best Of NOCO voting is now underway on a third-party platform at www.bit.ly/nocobestof. So far more than 18,000 votes have been cast. Voting will stay live until October 15, so make sure to go out and vote for your favorite NOCO businesses. They rely on you.
We hope that you are enjoying the start of your summer. Sunshine and warm days are in the forecast.
