Two limited-edition Vermont cheddars inspired by beloved New Belgium brews are now available at select Colorado retailers
Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company partnered with New Belgium Brewing to create two exceptional ale cheddars: the Vermont Farmstead Fat Tire Ale Cheddar and the Vermont Farmstead Voodoo Ranger Cheddar. The result is a lineup that captures the spirit of two iconic American crafts.
Vermont Farmstead cheeses add more fun and flavor to the table, whether you’re leveling up your picnic game, composing a swanky charcuterie board or just digging out of the sandwich doldrums.
“Great craft beer and artisan cheese share the exact same DNA: patience, premium ingredients and a passion for flavor,” the Vermont Farmstead team says. “Bringing these home to Colorado beer lovers is a perfect match.”
Meet the cheeses
Fat Tire Ale Cheddar
Made with New Belgium’s beloved Fat Tire Amber Ale, this cheddar develops a complex, mellow character with notes of toasted malt and a subtle nuttiness. Its smooth, creamy texture makes it an ideal pairing for charcuterie boards, or it can be melted over a hearty burger or simply enjoyed alongside a cold beer.
Voodoo Ranger Cheddar
For those who lean adventurous, the Voodoo Ranger Cheddar is crafted with New Belgium’s bold IPA, which brings a brighter, more spirited profile. Expect citrus-forward aromas, a pronounced tang and a pleasantly sharp finish that plays beautifully with the beer’s signature hop character. Pair it with hoppy craft beers, fresh fruit or a drizzle of local honey.
Colorado locals can now find Fat Tire and Voodoo Ranger alehouse cheddars in the specialty cheese or deli cases at Lucky’s Market, King Soopers, Clark’s Market and Marczyk Fine Foods.
