Human Bean Northern Colorado encouraged customers to make a difference with their daily cup of coffee. To help local communities faced with the need for food assistance, The Human Bean hosted a special give-back event on Aug. 8. One dollar from every drink purchased at any one of the 10 Human Bean Northern Colorado drive-thru locations was donated to help those in need. Customers also donated directly to the cause with cash donations.
Through community generosity, $5,228.57 was raised to support local food banks, helping to fight hunger right here in our community.
Proceeds were distributed between the Wellington Colorado Food Bank, Food Bank for Larimer County, Windsor-Severance Food Pantry and Weld Food Bank. Each of the four food banks plays a vital role in ensuring individuals and families have access to nutritious meals year-round. The funds raised will help stock shelves, support food distribution programs and bring hope to those facing difficult times.
- A check for $1,468.82 was presented to Weld County Food Bank on Sept. 16. Weld County Food Bank’s total includes proceeds raised and generous cash donations from customers.
