Tell us about yourself, your history and how you came to be where you are now.
Originally from Philadelphia, I’ve called Colorado home for nearly 18 years and love the people here. I suppose I’ve always been an entrepreneur. My journey started at 13, when I sold paracord bracelets made in Berthoud Spartan colors, even negotiating checkout line placement in Hays Market. The entrepreneurial bug had bitten. After high school, I dove into graphic design for five years with incredible local companies. This taught me business and marketing while pursuing my bachelor’s degree. I eventually moved into operations management, and with encouragement from mentors, I founded Dovito Business Solutions.
Explain your career, achievements and professional highlights.
I’ve helped companies achieve more than 30 percent cost reductions through automation and custom software. What drives me is seeing teams break free from manual work to focus on serving their customers and growing their impact. My operational foundation came from managing 40 employees across hospitality brands, where I learned that systems create environments where people thrive. For five years as the program director of Band of Creatives, I’ve led workshops combining technical skills with leadership principles, and as a 2024 graduate of the Leadership Program of the Rockies, I approach business as developing people and serving communities.
In what ways do you give back to the community?
People are my passion, and I believe that community impact flows from developing others. With Band of Creatives, it’s about empowering young people to think clearly and take initiative. Locally, I mentor young professionals across Northern Colorado, providing opportunities to develop life and leadership skills that create a lasting impact. My international work in Belize has taught me to communicate across cultural barriers, enhancing my effectiveness in developing leaders here in Colorado.
What do you consider your biggest accomplishment or challenge you’ve overcome, either professionally or personally?
The 2024 elections brought unexpected challenges when international trade tensions caused our partners to pull back, limiting resources and resulting in a 60 percent revenue loss. I couldn’t let this stop us. With support and prayers from my family, girlfriend and close friends, we rebuilt stronger than before. We moved all of our software, hosting and leadership teams to U.S.-based operations, focusing heavily on local partnerships and Colorado professionals. I’m so proud of my team.
Tell us something unique about you.
I love to cook. If I could retire today, I’d travel the world and learn cultural recipes. I believe food connects people in powerful ways: A shared meal builds lasting relationships like nothing else can. Whether I’m perfecting my grandmother’s dishes or trying something new from a culture I’ve never experienced, experimenting in the kitchen has become one of my favorite ways to learn, connect and unwind.
Where do you see yourself in five years? In 10 years?
In five years, I hope to own my dream property in Berthoud, start a family and be deeply involved in my community. I see Dovito Business Solutions as a leading automation consultancy mentoring more than 50 young leaders. In 10 years, I envision myself becoming an investor and mentor, creating a leadership training program for young professionals in Colorado.
What piece(s) of advice would you give to your younger self?
Build systems, not just achievements. Delegate based on strengths. Don’t undervalue your own work. Invest in relationships without expecting anything in return. Think in decades, not quarters. Hold those you love close and prioritize them. And above all, love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and strength.
What made you decide to get into AI as a business?
In marketing, I struggled with the fact that increased costs rarely translated into meaningful profit gains. But with AI, while there are always associated costs involved, about 85 percent of the time, the impact directly improves profitability. That was my light bulb moment: I knew I could build a company that solves real problems while generating value that can be seen directly on the bottom line. Our approach starts with identifying inefficiencies and designing tailored solutions, like a custom app, to optimize those processes. I now get to collaborate closely with my team, helping business owners unlock more profit while building the culture and relationships within their companies.
Why do you think AI is an important tool for businesses, both large and small?
AI has the ability to increase efficiency, reduce the burden of repetitive tasks and free people up to focus on more relational, creative and strategic work. I also firmly believe that AI isn’t about replacing jobs; it’s about elevating them. Like the internet, the industrial revolution, gosh, even the printing press, each technological leap has brought disruption but also enormous opportunity. These shifts created entirely new industries and higher-paying jobs that didn’t exist before. The learning curves were steep, and change was uncomfortable, but those who adapted, embraced the new tools and applied themselves became leaders in their fields.
Local business shoutout:
Dark Heart is by far my favorite coffee shop in Northern Colorado. While the seats are limited and the line is often out the door, the chocolate nitro cold brew, cortados and kombucha are among the best you’ll find on the Front Range.
