MainStreet Wheels 4 Meals Car Show Fundraiser to Support Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud

A community-driven event to benefit Meals on Wheels and bring car enthusiasts together

Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud is excited to announce the return of the MainStreet Wheels 4 Meals Car Show, taking place on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at MainStreet Car Care & Quick Lube in Berthoud (1001 Mountain Ave.). This second annual fundraiser invites car enthusiasts and the community at large to enjoy a day filled with classic cars, tasty food, local vendors and fun activities, all while supporting a great cause.

The event is free for spectators and will feature a range of classic, muscle and hot-rod vehicles. Car owners are encouraged to register early, with a $25 entry fee that includes a complimentary welcome breakfast, a branded show T-shirt, a goodie bag with coupons and prizes and a commemorative dash plaque.

Attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite cars through the popular People’s Choice Award. Each car will have a donation box, and the car that collects the most donations will win the highly coveted award ($1 = one vote). Votes not only support a favorite car, but they also contribute directly to Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud.

This year’s event is made possible thanks to the generous support of local sponsors, including MainStreet Car Care as the presenting sponsor, Adams Bank and Trust as a “hot rod” sponsor and Dave Orr State Farm as a “classic car” sponsor, as well as in-kind contributions from local businesses like Top of the Lake Coffee and Kuz Photo Studio.

Confirmed food trucks include ShortD’s Mobile coffee trailer, Beans, which will offer coffee, espresso and cold brews throughout the event. Local vendors will also be onsite, showcasing products and services.

“The Wheels 4 Meals Car Show is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy a day out and contribute to the mission of nourishing the lives of our community’s homebound and elderly with independence and dignity,” says Carrie Kaufman, communications and development director of Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud. “We invite everyone, whether you’re a car enthusiast or just looking for a fun family outing, to join us for this impactful and fun event.”
