Human Bean Northern Colorado has made it a long-standing tradition to support cancer fighters in Northern Colorado with programs like Coffee for a Cure. This time, The Human Bean is running a fundraiser to support the Colorado Eagles Fight Cancer Weekend on Friday, Jan. 13, and Saturday, Jan. 14, which benefits the UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation Oncology Patient Assistance Fund. From now through Jan. 21, 100 percent of proceeds from The Human Bean’s new “Slapshot” drink from all 10 drive-thru locations will be donated to the Foundation’s fund.
Named after the Colorado Eagles’ mascot, the purple-colored Slapshot drink is the perfect complement to the special lavender jerseys the Colorado Eagles will be wearing as they take on the Rockford Ice Hogs at Blue Arena in honor of those fighting cancer in our community.
