Tell us about yourself, your history and how you came to be where you are now.
My professional career began in high school with a vending business in Arizona. I then came to Colorado for college and entered the construction management program. After a few years, I decided to buy a food cart. I met my partner and we decided to run the cart. Building a business together was more fulfilling than anything I had done.

What are you passionate about professionally and personally, and why?
I love to build nearly anything. I’m a very hands-on person. I think that’s why building a business comes so easily to me. I love the people I interact with from the booking to the serving in our business. My personal passion is aligned with my professional passion for just that reason.

What is your superpower?
I think that would be my flexibility. I am always finding solutions or workarounds for people who need us to be at events for them.

What do you consider your biggest accomplishment, either professionally or personally?
My biggest accomplishment professionally is being able to be flexible enough to understand the need I saw in front of me to change my course in life. Personally, my biggest accomplishment was finding the love of my life. Together we are incredibly successful.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
The biggest influence in my life has been my partner in life. When we met, I was drowning in things that didn’t feed my passion. These days, I find so much happiness in building this with her.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In 10 years?
I think in five years I would like to have five trucks running in different locations. In ten years, I think I’d like to have
a brick and mortar. A storefront for us to work out of would be ideal. Lots of happy employees and people around us.

What piece(s) of advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
My younger self needed to know that nothing is certain, and change is good. I thought I had it all figured out, and it turns out that altering my ultimate goals was the best thing I could have done. It allowed for a freedom and happiness that was unimaginable to me then.

What do you enjoy doing in your downtime?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My ultimate unwind is sitting on a beach taking in a beautiful sunset or a beautiful sunrise. It allows me to breathe and really just let go.

What would you like to give back to your community?
I will feed those who need a meal for nothing. I love to do events that are fundraising for causes. I love those events that we do for people and animals alike.
