ABOUT: The Colorado Governor’s Art Show presents its annual Plein Air Festival and Auction on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participating artists will paint en plein air across town from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. followed by entertainment and a live auction from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the downtown Loveland Foundry Plaza on East Third, across from the Metrolux Theater. This free festival, hosted by KPI – Jack & Chris Harris, showcases Colorado artists as they masterfully paint works of art open-air and on location throughout Loveland, providing a unique opportunity to experience each piece as it is being created.
The Governor’s Art Show is presented by Loveland and Thompson Valley Rotary Clubs and endorsed by the Governor of Colorado. Net proceeds will benefit Rotary-sponsored charitable projects and causes. One-third of net proceeds will go to the Thompson Education Foundation’s Homeless Assistance Fund and additional funds will go toward scholarships for local art students.
