Kelly James and Amanda Faubus, creators of Brushes Workshops, hosted their first workshop at Blue Mountain Vineyards. Blooms and Brushes is a step-by-step workshop series that teaches floral arrangement and abstract painting. Attendees were greeted at Blue Mountain Vineyard with a glass of wine and charcuterie before James, local wedding florist and owner of Lilac and Sage Studio, led attendees to create a floral arrangement. Next, local artist Faubus taught guests how to create an abstract painting that mirrored the colors of their floral arrangement. Attendees will be able to take home both their floral arrangement and painting to enjoy.
