Meals on Wheels of Loveland & Berthoud has announced “Meals on 4th”, their signature fundraising event for the organization. The event being held June 12, 2019, from 6:00-9:30PM and tickets are now on sale.

Karen Douglas, Meals on Wheels’ Board President states, “Meals on 4th is truly a very unique event. It is held under the lights right on 4th Street, which will be closed between Railroad and Cleveland Avenues in downtown Loveland. It’s multiple courses of farm-to-table style fare created by local chefs from Door 222 food & drink, Mo’ Betta Gumbo and Origins Wine Bar and Wood Fired Pizza. Local brews, wines and coffee are served, and the event includes live entertainment. What an exceptional way to support this organization.”

“Meals on 4th” is our principal fundraiser for the year,” added Susan Atwater, Development Director with Meals on Wheels. “Our mission of nourishing and enriching the lives of homebound individuals with nutritious meals and daily contact by caring volunteers in our community is never-ending. In 2018 alone we served 687 clients, delivered an average of 293 meals daily, and our outstanding volunteers logged 17,658 hours on behalf of the organization and our clients. This collaborative, distinctive event will help us to ensure we will continue to fulfill our mission for years to come, particularly as our region continues to grow.”
