Spring has sprung and the outdoors is calling

There are so many cool things to do in NOCO in the coming months, from Kentucky Derby parties to Cinco de Mayo celebrations, and many hikes, runs and fundraisers, including the Realities Ride & Rally and the Fire Hydrant 5K to benefit the Larimer Humane Society.

Speaking of outdoors, NOCO is a mecca for gliding. The Colorado Soaring Association, based in Wellington, offers affordable, scenic rides with spectacular aerial views of the Front Range. Read more on page 18.

On April 22, NOCO Style was honored with a ribbon cutting ceremony in the former Greeley Union Pacific Railroad Depot, which now houses the Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Greeley. We met many members of the board of directors who were very gracious and welcoming. Rumor has it that an old steam engine (a Big Boy) will make a stop in Greeley on its way from Wyoming to Utah this month. Watch our website for details.
