April 18th is a day of honoring and celebrating award winners who make NOCO businesses the moral and innovative establishments that they are! The 21st annual Better Business Bureau Torch Awards for Ethics is set for 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, at Embassy Suites in Loveland. Table sponsorships and tickets are now available for the awards celebration! In addition to the TorchAwards, this year’s ceremony will honor the next class of the BBB Spark Award for Entrepreneurship winners.
The event, a program of the BBB Foundation, will celebrate three businesses and one nonprofit from Northern Colorado and Wyoming that demonstrate exemplary ethics as Torch Award winners.
Teams of business students from Colorado State University, University of Northern Colorado, and the University of Wyoming worked with nominated businesses to prepare the Torch Award applications. An independent panel of judges made the final selections based on the six TRUST! Principles.
The Spark Award is open to businesses in operation between six months and three years and judges businesses on three categories: character, culture, and community. Eligible businesses submitted their own applications, which were judged by an independent panel to select our inaugural class of three winners.
