More than 225 guests commemorated the 40th anniversary of A Woman’s Place domestic violence shelter of Weld County and the 25th anniversary of the Celebrating Women Gala (CWG) sponsored by Friends of A Woman’s Place. The special Gala Anniversary Dinner recognized past CWG honorees and featured two speakers, survivors of domestic violence who have broken the cycle of abuse and gone on to lead lives of positive purpose for themselves and their families. The evening helped raise more than $100,000 to benefit A Woman’s Place.
