Fire Hydrant 5K :: June 2 :: The Promenade Shops at Centerra :: Loveland

A tail waggin’ good time was had at the 28th annual Fire Hydrant 5K, with 1,500 human participants and nearly 750 well-behaved dogs taking to the course to help support the animals. Pet- and family-friendly booths in the Pet Expo, wading pools for the pooches, Healthy Kids Run, fun doggie contests, awards to top finishers, K-9 demonstrations and so much more rounded out the morning of festivities. The event raised more than $85,000 to benefit Larimer Humane Society and its programs to help the thousands of homeless, injured, ill and orphaned animals.
