NOCO Style had the wonderful opportunity to partner with desk chair workspace to host and sponsor a blood drive, staffed by Vitalant. Vitalant is the nation’s largest independent, nonprofit blood services provider exclusively focused on providing lifesaving blood and comprehensive transfusion medicine services. Many blood drives have been cancelled, so the individual donations made matter now more than ever. Donating blood is still safe to do and is considered an essential gathering by the CDC and each donation can save up to three lives! Vitalant members tested all blood and platelet donors for COVID-19 antibodies as well. Over the course of the day, over 34 units of blood was collected which will impact 102 lives!
