Tonja has been in the publishing industry since 1997. Since purchasing NOCO Style in September 2017, the journey has been exciting getting to know all of the wonderful people throughout Northern Colorado and bringing them valuable information about what makes NOCO special.

In her spare time, she enjoys dining out and vacationing with her husband, Rob, and spending time with their two daughters, Ashley and Casey, and their growing families which now include three grandchildren. She also enjoys boating on Lonetree Reservoir and spoiling their dog, Harley.

Laurel  has always called Northern Colorado home. A Fort Collins native, she enjoys long bike rides, tending to her garden, paddleboarding at Horsetooth Reservoir, camping and fishing in the mountains and listening to live music on a sunny downtown patio. She married her high school sweetheart in 2022 and is completely obsessed with her Great Pyrenees mix, Twyla.

Laurel got her start in magazine writing at Denver Life Magazine and has spent many years writing for regional lifestyle publications, including AvidLifestyle Magazine and NOCO Style. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in sociology from Colorado State University, where she got involved with student media and fell in love with the art of storytelling.

Dan England

Dan England has worked for Colorado media for nearly 25 years, including 20 at the Greeley Tribune. During his time at the Tribune, he won more than 100 state and national awards, including Best of Show from the Colorado Press Association in 2015. Dan loves to write about the outdoors, as they are not just a job but an adventure: He has completed more than 20 marathons and 15 ultramarathons in addition to climbing more than 200 peaks, including all the 14ers in Colorado and Mount Rainier in Washington.
 
Dan also plays trombone, but his wife, Valerie Vampola, deserves the spotlight more, as she sings for living, doing gigs as a solo artist and with Katie Quick in addition to guest appearances with bands across Colorado and teaching with the Loveland Academy of Music. Dan has three children, Jayden and his twin girls, Andie and Allie, and a heeler, Pepper, who in addition to training with him ran her first trail marathon last year in western Kansas.

Ashley embraces the Northern Colorado community. You can often find Ashley around town networking at community events. She graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2016 with a bachelor of arts degree in marketing with a minor in sales. She enjoys traveling, finding good restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Cameron, their two sons, Duke and Decker, and their dog, Jocco.

Born and raised in the sports town of Westfield, New Jersey, Jon graduated from the Morristown Beard School and attended St. Lawrence University, where he played lacrosse and majored in economics and corporate finance. Rather than pursue a financial career in New York, he headed to Bozeman, Montana, so he could pursue his passion for hunting and fishing. While living on the Gallatin River, Jon worked for several national magazines and media sources throughout the northwest.

After working for four years in Bozeman, Jon moved to Windsor where he began working with STYLE magazine and guiding waterfowl hunting on the Front Range. Jon has done advertising sales for NOCO Style for many, many years. Jon lives with his wife, Sharis and daughter, Briar. In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing and traveling with his family.

Allyson is a proud Texan that fell head over heels for the Rockies. After marrying her mountain man and having their three wild boys, Colorado truly became HOME. You’ll find her camping in Red Feather on the weekends, hiking in Lory on a sunny afternoon, and cheering her boy crew on at the local mountain biking competitions! When she needs to squeeze in some girl time, she’ll grab a hipster oat milk latte and hit up the closest thrift store or flea market to rummage through hidden treasures.
 
Allyson got her start freelance writing for various local magazines until she settled into her role at NOCO Style.

Maya has been designing print publications since 2012. She began her career with a nationwide rodeo magazine while earning her graphic design degree through Central Wyoming College. Her professional development later expanded to regional photography magazines based out of Northern Colorado. Although raised in Wyoming, Maya has lived in various states such as Michigan and Oregon but is now proud to call NOCO her home. When not designing, she’s enjoying time with her husband and two children paddle boarding, camping and having movie nights.

Michael is highly creative with extensive experience in marketing and print design. A lifelong resident of Colorado, Michael is a proud graduate of Colorado State University with a BFA in Graphic Design and a BA in Speech Communications. When he is not busy designing, Michael enjoys exploring the beauty of Colorado, hiking, golfing, gardening, tackling a myriad of home improvement projects, and anything that involves spending time with his family and close friends.

Jordan (Jo) is a NOCO native, she grew up in Fort Collins and has been enmeshed in the community for as long as she can remember. Jordan graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in English studies and a minor in marketing. She has a heart for nonprofits and a passion for connecting people with one another and with the Northern Colorado community.

She enjoys going on a good run, escaping to Red Feather Lakes, doodling away and spending time with her friends and family.
