Landline, Northern Colorado’s direct ground transportation service to Denver International Airport, announces a new investment at Northern Colorado Regional Airport: a newly leased, dedicated parking lot with more than 700 free parking spaces exclusively for Landline customers.
The new lot, secured through an agreement with the FNL airport, opens for customer parking Feb. 1 and expands free parking options while improving convenience for local travelers.
“This new lot is a big step forward for our Northern Colorado customers,” says Nick Johnson, vice president of commercial operations at Landline. “We’re growing our schedule, investing directly in the passenger experience and making it easier than ever to get from Northern Colorado to DIA without increasing prices.”
The dedicated lot is fully fenced, includes new lighting and is reserved exclusively for Landline customers. In addition to free parking, Landline plans to add a covered and heated bus shelter in the near future.
Beginning Feb. 1, Landline will relocate its Northern Colorado Regional Airport pickup location directly to the new parking area, allowing passengers to park and board in the same place. The change eliminates the need to walk between the lot and terminal and streamlines boarding, particularly during winter weather.
Parking in the new lot is free for up to three weeks. Customers traveling for longer periods may purchase an extended parking pass through Landline, allowing vehicles to remain parked for extended trips.
The parking expansion follows recent investments by Landline to improve the overall passenger experience. Motorcoaches are equipped with high-speed satellite Wi-Fi, spacious seating, power outlets, onboard restrooms and professional drivers trained for year-round mountain and winter driving conditions.
“These investments are about turning travel time into usable time,” Johnson says. “Whether someone is heading to the airport for work or vacation, we want the experience to be productive, comfortable, and reliable from the start.”
Landline currently operates 18 round-trip departures daily between Northern Colorado and Denver International Airport. In addition to nonstop service from Northern Colorado Regional Airport, Landline serves passengers from Harmony Transfer Center in Fort Collins and the Colorado State University Transit Center.
Adult fares start at $29 each way, and kids 12 and under ride free, making Landline a competitive and family-friendly alternative to driving to DIA.
Passengers may also join Landline’s free loyalty program, Penguin Perks, which allows riders to earn rewards toward free trips. Members receive a free ride for each new customer they refer who completes a trip.
“Our goal is to remove as many barriers as possible, whether that’s parking costs, unpredictable winter driving, or the hassle of getting to DIA,” says Hannah Bullman, Landline spokesperson. “This new lot, our expanded schedule, our onboard investments and our loyalty program are all part of investing back into the communities we serve and building a service Northern Colorado residents can rely on year-round.”
Landline says the new parking lot is part of a long-term effort to build infrastructure in Northern Colorado while continuing to expand service and keep travel affordable.
