Downtown Loveland is the perfect place to be this holiday season, from the delicious coffee shops and entertainment venues to local boutiques, one-of-a-kind restaurants and plenty of charm. Whether you’re shopping small or meeting friends for dinner, November is the perfect month to fall in love with downtown all over again.
Downtown Festival of Lights
The beloved hometown tradition will kick off the holiday season with lights, music and community cheer from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, along 4th Street and in the Foundry Plaza.
The two blocks between Washington and Lincoln avenues that have been under construction will be completed by the Festival of Lights celebration. The annual event, Floats on 4th: Stationary Float Parade, will be located on the newly open streets.

Scrooge will be the master of ceremonies on the main stage for these festivities:
- 5:20-7:30 p.m. – community performances by Lighthouse Dance, Loveland Choral Society, Garfield Elementary, Old Man Charm and the Resurrection Elementary Bella Voce Choir.
- 7:30 p.m. – tree lighting ceremony with Scrooge and The Grinch.
Art and music stage
Check out these highlights on 4th Street between Cleveland and Lincoln avenues:
- 5 p.m. – Santa arrival celebration with The Grinch.
- 5:20-7:30 p.m. – DJ Brian Howe lights up the stage with fun and music.
