Colorado-based bike manufacturer REEB Cycles is hosting a Bike to Work Day on June 25. Headquartered at Hooptie Bike Lounge, REEB’s full-service bike shop that opened in late 2024, the day-long event will include free morning coffee and waffles, free minor bike adjustments, and happy hour specials including $3 Dos Equis and $1 off all draft beer, featuring the new collaboration beer from REEB Cycles and Bootstrap Brewing, REEB Rocky Mountain IPA.

Wednesday, June 25 – Bike to Work Day at Hooptie Bike Lounge

  • 7–10AM – Free Traction Coffee and Waffles: Kickstart your Bike to Work Day with free Traction Coffee Roasters coffee and waffles and free minor bike adjustments.
  • 3–7PM – Hooptie Happy Hour & REEB IPA Beer Release: Stop in on your ride home from work for $3 Dos Equis and $1 off all draft beer including the new REEB Cycles and Bootstrap Brewing “REEB Rocky Mountain IPA” collaboration beer.

REEB’s Hootpie Bike Lounge opened last year at 1225 Boston Ave as Longmont’s full-service bike shop – plus craft beer bar. From top-notch servicing to a killer gear selection, the Hooptie Bike Lounge has everything you need to keep you rolling.

The REEB Rocky Mountain IPA was brewed a bike ride away from Hooptie Bike Lounge at Bootstrap Brewing featuring a dank hop bill including Simcoe, Idaho 7, Galaxy, Centennial, and Hersbrucker and dry hopped with Amarillo, Idaho 7, and Centennial. The REEB IPA pours a clear light golden color, with a white head with a citrus and pine aroma with slight berry notes. A lighter bodied, dry IPA with lots of tropical fruit flavor up front, like pineapple and guava, with a crisp piney dankness to finish it off making for a great REEB Rocky Mountain IPA.

“I got back into the beer business for the same reason I started in the first place–because great beer brings people together. REEB IPA isn’t just a beer, it’s a ride. It’s bold, unapologetic, and built for the post-ride liquid reward,” said Dale Katechis, founder of REEB Cycles and Oskar Blues Brewery.
