Experience the New CooperSmith’s: Refreshed Ambiance, Classic Flavors and Enhanced Cocktails

Since it changed ownership last August, CooperSmith’s is excited to announce several updates to what is known as Fort Collins’ first official brewpub.

To begin the transformation, CooperSmith’s unveiled a subtly refreshed brand, including an updated logo and the new tagline, “Old Town BrewPub.” This was followed in January by an interior refresh, designed by local firm Salt Design and enhanced with artwork from Noyes Art Design of Littleton. The renovation, completed Jan. 25, was managed by Fort Collins’ Thunderpup Construction.

“We wanted to breathe new life into CooperSmith’s while preserving the spirit that has made it a Fort Collins institution,” says Brandon Shaw, CooperSmith’s owner, longtime Northern Colorado resident and homebrew enthusiast.

“Additionally, we wanted to incorporate as many local partners as possible in the project, and we’re very happy with the results and hope the community is too.”

Beyond the interior and brand updates, the team at CooperSmith’s has been intently listening to customer feedback, bringing back fan favorites such as the pub chips and red feather fingers. The team plans to continue celebrating the restaurant’s history with refreshed menu items and limited-time throwback specials.

The restaurant is currently running its annual February Fish Fry, featuring a special menu of Walleye entrees, a CooperSmith’s tradition dating back to the early 2000s in honor of the previous owner’s midwestern roots.

The pub has also expanded its drink options beyond its well-known beers, offering a curated selection of handcrafted mocktails, cocktails and scotch and whiskey flights.

“While we’ll always be a brewery at heart, we want to ensure everyone finds something to love at CooperSmith’s,” Shaw says. “Our new drink options complement our food and beer, providing a truly comprehensive Old Town experience.”
